Pahoehoe is the Hawaiian term for soft, ondulating lava that is flowing on the surface. Volcanic eruptions can be explosive, violent and crude but also incredibly beautiful, with an enormous amount of changing landscapes. Some of the most beautiful islands on earth are of volcanic origins, and a lot of those are in the South Pacific, including the Hawaiian archipelago.

These earrings are made with polished reconstituted red coral beads, dangling from a trapeze of chain and tickled by a metal feather detail. They represent the wild nature of those volcanic islands.
